Port Authority® Document Tote

The embroidery was excellent but the proof image provided made it look as if the 4"x4" art would look much larger on the bag than it actually did. I think it should be clear what the size of the Document Tote bag is on the page you are ordering from. Even after searching for some time... I was unable to find the actual size of the Document Tote listed anywhere on VistaPrint.com. The rest of the process went smoothly but I am sure many will expect the tote to look like the proof image they saw when ordering. This was discouraging when the tote bags arrived but will serve as a good lesson for my graphic design students.

Highly disappointed; should have listened to the other reviewers when they said the image was tiny. When designing, the image covers a large area, but the actual size is maybe a quarter of the design size. I feel cheated.

So, I made the mistake of not checking the reviews of this item before purchasing it because I have purchased satisfactory merchandise from Vistaprint before. That, unfortunately, is not the case with this purchase. Apparently, this is an ongoing issue as evidenced by the other two-star review but the design proof I was provided by Vistaprint and approved showed a much larger embroidery area, covering the majority of the bag. What I received was a miniscule embroidery area that covers approximately 1/9 of the bag. I found no clear indication during any of the order process that indicates the finished product would not match the approved proof. I even went as far as rebuilding the entire order to check page by page for any notifications or size disclaimers and found nothing. The tote itself is very nice and of decent quality for the price. The embroidery, likewise, is of good quality; just on a much smaller scale than I was under the impression it would be. I would not recommend purchasing this product until the graphics design elements and proofs/previews are corrected for scale.

I got a custom bag for a bridesmaid gift. The digital image proof of the image displayed the embroidery area much larger than it actually is. The specs were right -- 4" by 4" square -- but the proof image displayed it at about twice that size. If I had known or noticed this I probably would have gone elsewhere for my purchase. Please fix your display as it is misleading! The bag quality is feel like plastic. It is not soft or gentle on skin.
